LOOK ON THE INSIDE
Look within
you, what’s that that you’re hiding from the rest of the world that only you know about? Is
there any chance that it keeps you up in the night while others sleep, like a
dream unfinished? And during the day you barely concentrate? Your also afraid
of bringing it out because of fear of judgment, losing friends and family,
financial support, job and much more. The only question though, if you were to
expose it, would the possible consequences be worth it after all?
We are
fond of living life like we have a second chance of living it all over again
in this present world, yet we all know that when we are on our death beds that’s
when we actually realize that we should have taken the risky anyway, we should
have lived anyway. Life is very important and good, especially when you live it
like your life and not someone else’s life.
Be true
to yourself because that’s what many are afraid of, we are more concerned about
the eyes of society and being proper that we have instead created great caged,
scared, hurt, prisoners within ourselves that we can’t wait to be freed! But we
forget that freedom is worked for, and not simply given on a silver platter. Society
is us and without us, there is no society. You got to ask yourself whether the
way you live your life is truly the way you would live it if it were your last
day to live. Would you make the same decision that you’re going to make or
already made? After being true about that, then you have your answer.
Examine yourself
a little bit more and like I always say, be honest with yourself. Are you happy,
or you’re planning on being happy some other day? Are you living with open
hands, mind and heart? Or you’re waiting for a savior? In all you do, do not
live with regrets because that’s a cause for the dead. Living people live, and
they also make decisions! Sometimes when you make your own decisions and they
go wrong, you don’t regret them as much as you do when someone else makes them
for you, because by then, we are not quick to reason and forgive. And that’s where
all the hate and bitterness springs out. It could remain hidden from the rest
of the world but not from you, and before it destroys the other person, it destroys
you first.
That’s what
we all have in common as humans; we don’t always know what goes on in the mind and heart
of the other person. So how about we reduce a little bit of that by being
honest with ourselves and others. Its not easy, but we could always try.
