WALK YOUR OWN WALK
More often we are drawn away from our own self-importance as a result of comparing ourselves to the person next to us, due to society or our own selves. We are more worried about how we can be like them, achieve what they have achieved, live life like the way they are living it, and most times we succeed in doing just that. We live on earth with our bodies present doing the actions of the other person, closing the door to our own creativity of all kind that lies in each one of us, and guess what happens, we live the life of another person and by that, we succeed in throwing our own selves away like we do not matter.
Many times, we live life trying to
convince ourselves that we are not cowards or we can do better than the people
we are comparing ourselves to, and we forget that we should walk our own walk. I
believe we should look at other people’s best versions as away of finding
inspiration and not comparison. We should be more courageous enough to walk our
own path and radiate with happiness because of that fact. You do not need to be
like the person next. Anyways, it could be boring.
Take time, look at yourself and
embrace your uniqueness. Ask yourself what the world would do without you? And
after that, bring out that missing part that the world needs because we all have
a purpose to accomplish. There is no one like you, otherwise what would be the
purpose of having a full world, full of the same person in many people? Let’s
take the full advantage of being our own kind, and let it shine through to
uplift us to our would-be purposes in the world. Through that, we could beat
depression and devastation that we often go through with comparison. Then, when
all is done and finished, in the end, we always find that when we believe and
love ourselves without judgment but honesty, we become a source of inspiration
to ourselves and the world at large.
“Be yourself; everyone else is
already taken” Oscar Wilde
