UNCHAIN YOURSELF
Globally, we humans have mastered the art of
slavery of our own lives, living under the masks of our own creation, and
have since then been dead yet still breathing. Living like prisoners under our own roofs and holding our heads high in the name of" it is all well" yet in the inside we are crying for freedom. What a pity! It is really sad
how we have been pushed by situations and some people until we have lost sight
of our own lives. We have now mastered a certain pattern that we are living, we
are tired of dreaming, we no longer believe, we are full of resentment and bitterness
and more often, we have suicide knocking on our doors with open hands. And to
those who have totally lost hope, we welcome it in a blink of an eye.
Often, we have been thrown in such situations
after we have met our worst fears which we have deemed solution-less. After
this, we lose purpose, become our own enemy and beyond this, we live a chained
life. Even in such absurd moments, we are called to learn, because it is then
that we are brought to the knowledge of living beyond limitations. When your
view is limited, it is very much easier to fall short of answers. When you find
a problem, and you don’t find a solution to it, go back and look at it with a
new perspective, it won’t look the same.
You could be broken, bitter, disappointed, hurt, depressed, sick, and so forth, but the possibility to become alive again and come out of that shell you have been hiding in, comes from the willingness to rise from the ashes, dust off all the negativity and take responsibility to become the best version of yourself. As we busy ourselves praying to God to set us free, God is waiting on us to do something about our own lives, to take those first baby steps until we are sure we can walk, He wants us to feel the pride and victory of accomplishment from one step to the other, not just taking a quick elevator to our preferred destiny
The beauty of seeing yourself for who you really are, and not other people’s perception of you or the power you give situations to imprison you, lies in rewriting your story as you desire it, reediting it every day tirelessly with love for yourself.
